An amazing 72% of residents from Treadgold House contributed to this top ten list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block. Replacing their kitchens came out on top just ahead of new bathrooms. Residents also wanted a new entry system and CCTV installed as well as re-design of the car park.   

Cambourne Mews

Cambourne Mews

Cambourne Mews residents put windows, kitchens and bathrooms as their top priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block. Relocating bins also featured on their list as did covering exposed pipes and moving the boiler.   

Camelford Court

Camelford Court

In Camelford Court, an enthusiastic 61% of residents contributed to this top ten list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block. In keeping with many other blocks, Camelford Court placed windows and bathrooms high on their list, as the first and second priorities respectively. Interestingly, unlike many of the other blocks, Camelford Court placed soundproofing high up on their list as their third priority.

With 69% of the residents contributing, Camelford Walk is another example of a great resident engagement. After collating all the data, we found that Camelford’s Walk top three choices were windows, kitchens and bathrooms respectively. However, residents also seemed concerned with shared spaces placing communal entrances and lifts also in their top 10s.   

Clarendon Walk

Clarendon Walk

With more than 100 homes Clarendon Walk had a 62% participation rate amongst residents. Clarendon Walk residents put new windows and kitchens as their first and second priorities for the upcoming refurbishment. In speaking to residents at workshops and over the phone, it was clear there were concerns about security. This was reflected in their top 10 priorities which included door entry systems and communal entrance made it on to their top 10 priorities. 

Morland House

Morland House

An incredible 82% of residents from Morland House contributed to this top ten list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block. Security was a concern for residents as they put making the courtyard safer, installing video entry system and CCTV on their list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment.   

Talbot Grove House

Talbot Grove House

An incredible 81% of residents from Talbot Grove House contributed to this top ten list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block. Residents were also highly engaged during workshops and follow-up phone calls. Replacing the windows, internal decoration and kitchens were the top three priorities

Talbot Walk

Talbot Walk

An incredible 86% of residents from Talbot Walk contributed to this top ten list of priorities for the upcoming refurbishment for their block – the highest level of engagement of any block. Residents in Talbot Walk were particularly interested in refurbishing the shared areas. This shows in their list of priorities as door entry systems, communal entrance and accessibility to the garden all made it to their top 10 list.   

Verity Close House

Verity Close House

Soundproofing topped the list of priorities for residents of Verity Close houses for the upcoming refurbishment. Replacing kitchens and bathrooms and installing a new boiler was also high on the list of priorities. Outside, residents also wanted to have a main gate to the close installed.

Verity Close Flats

Verity Close Flats

Verity Close Flats residents put new kitchens and bathrooms as their top two picks for the upcoming refurbishment. They were also interested in options to redesign the layout of the close.

With a shared block type and very similar concerns, residents in Barandon, Hurstway and Testerton Walks had windows, heating and hot water and CCTV among their top 10 priorities for the upcoming refurbishment. 38% of residents took part in engagement in a part of the Lancaster West Estate that houses over 300 flats.
