Residente obtiene el trabajo de sus sueños a través del programa LancWest Works

 El equipo del vecindario de Lancaster West está encantado de haber podido ayudar a Amina, residente de Lancaster West, a encontrar trabajo de tiempo completo.
 Ella acaba de comenzar como trabajadora de apoyo comunitario con el socio local Clement James Centre. Amina formó parte del programa LancWest Works de LWNT, que se creó para ayudar a los residentes locales a encontrar oportunidades de empleo y capacitación.
 “Llevaba un tiempo buscando trabajo. Si Khadra no me hubiera invitado a la feria, no me habría enterado de la oportunidad en Clement James”, dijo Amina.

Pedimos a los residentes que dieran sus preferencias sobre ventanas, fachadas exteriores, balcones y más. El equipo del vecindario de Lancaster West ha recolectado los votos y ahora podemos revelar las opciones ganadoras.
 62% de los residentes de Camelford Court, Camelford Walk, Clarendon Walk, Talbot Walk completaron la encuesta.

New bicycle repair stands installed on Lancaster West Estate!

3 bicycle repair stands have been installed outside Barandon Walk, Hurstway Walk (by Latimer Rd tube station) and by Talbot Grove House! 
They include all the tools necessary to fix your bike, plus a bicycle tyre pump!

The Bike Project are taking second-hand bikes, fixing them up, and donating them to refugees and people seeking asylum in London and Birmingham. Having fled persecution in their country of origin, most refugees arrive in the UK with nothing, and having a bicycle helps them access food banks, legal advice, healthcare, education and more.
