Carbon Conscious Living: Understanding and reducing everyday carbon emissions

Join LWNT’s next Sustainability Series on Tuesday 23 April from 2-3pm, all about carbon literacy!
What is carbon literacy? Carbon literacy is an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.

This topic is crucial in achieving Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team's goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, and for Lancaster West Estate in North Kensington to become an eco-neighbourhood. This interactive talk and discussion will provide more insight into how we can collectively achieve this.

The Carbon Literacy Project, an organisation dedicated to providing carbon literacy training, will lead the session. They will explain the concept of carbon literacy, its significance in the social housing sector, and detail their training programs, including the Social Housing Toolkit designed specifically for this sector.

This will take place online on Teams and in Unit 1, Baseline Studios, Lancaster West Estate, Whitchurch Rd W11 4AT.  Join live on the day using the QR code, the link below or email Ruby ruby.harvey@rbkc.gov.uk.

The event is run by LWNT’s Green Skills Academy. Looking forward to seeing you there!
