NEW: Introduction to Retrofit course

Retrofit is a booming area of the construction industry, with lots of different trades and types of projects. From solar energy to sustainable refurbishment, this course will introduce you to retrofit and give you knowledge of key construction topics.
You will gain a Level 1 college certificate, and can work towards a career in green construction or a level 2/3, supported by the Green Skills Academy.
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) training is also available, so you can obtain your CSCS card and work safely in construction.
You must be 19+, and able to evidence your right to work or study in the UK.

Suitability Suitable for career starters, career changers, and anyone interested in learning about retrofit. You may have already worked in construction and want to build new skills, or you could be entirely new to construction work.
CareersCareers in retrofit and green construction are varied! You could have a career as a Retrofit Assessor or Energy Advisor, or as a specialist tradesperson in exciting technologies, like Heat Pump or Solar Panel Installation. 
Retrofit is growing across the UK, and all construction trades would benefit from retrofit knowledge. Retrofit companies are growing too, meaning there's career opportunities in non-technical roles such as Business Operations and Resident Liaison Officers 
DetailsThe course runs on Thursdays, over 6 weeks. 10am - 3pm, in the Employment and Training Hub at Baseline Studios (W11 4AT).

CSCS Card TrainingYou will have the option of adding Health and Safety Awareness training onto your course, which is a requirement to get a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card and work safely in construction. 
EligibilityYou must be 19+You must be able to evidence your right to work or study in the UK (British passport, or settlement/Visa information)
