Details:

The course runs over 3 days, Tuesday 29th April - Thursday 1st May, 10am - 4:30pm.

It is in-person in North Kensington, in the Employment & Training Hub, Baseline Studios, W11 4AT.
The course is provided by National Energy Action. 
Day 1
Start the course with an introduction to Energy Awareness. You'll receive an overview of the course, discuss fuel poverty and its impact on health, and learn basic energy principles in the home, including heating appliances and control mechanisms. The day will conclude with a mock simulation exercise.

Day 2
Dive into Energy Consumption. You'll learn how to calculate electricity and gas consumption, understand fuel bills and costs, explore fuel payment methods and debt management, and get introduced to renewable energy concepts. The day will wrap up with a mock practical exercise.

Day 3
Learn to measure the energy efficiency of dwellings, discuss heat loss and insulation techniques, and explore energy efficiency schemes and grant aid options. The session will also cover issues related to dampness and condensation 

After the course, you will have a dedicated exam day with support to help you successfully obtain your qualification which will be overseen by a registered examiner.
Please note, as this is a Level 3 qualification, learners will require basic literacy and numeracy skills. The course and exam will include some written activities as well as calculating fuel bills; calculating running costs of electrical appliances and converting temperatures using simple formulas which will be provided.
