Lancaster West Photo Competition

Lancaster West Photo Competition Launched!

Do you have a passion for photography and our estate?  We’re inviting all residents of Lancaster West to share with us their best photos of the estate, they can be new or old, taken on your phone, camera - or even a polaroid!
The entries will help us build up an idea of what residents might like to see more of through the refurbishment of the estate, but also areas we need to improve to feel safer or be more aesthetically pleasing.

We will publish a selection of entries to create a mood board of what people like about Lancaster West now, and ideas as to what you would like to see more of. We hope to better understand the estate from the point of view of residents and we welcome submissions from all Lancaster West Estate residents interested in taking part.
The photos will be judged by a panel who will be looking for an overall one winner and winners in six categories which are: Lightness and Darkness, Signs of Spring, Shape and Colour. Lancaster West Vibes, Living Spaces and Fond Memories.
The winner of each of the six categories will receive a £25 Westfield voucher and we will also be offering a grand prize for the best photograph, a Philip Hue Ambiance Smart Floor Lamp (worth £249) for the overall winner.
The competition begins Friday 30 April and closes Sunday 30 May at 5pm. Winners announced week commencing 5 July 2021. All entries must be received via email to or posted into our silver letterbox outside Baseline Studios.
